How do I compile a game built in panda3d version 1.10.0? (Solved)

In all fairness, based on what Moguri has said, it sounds like the slowness that you’re experiencing with OpenGL is specific to Intel’s OpenGL drivers. Between that and Intel integrated chipsets being (if I’m not much mistaken) relatively weak devices, I imagine that users with other chipsets might see better performance from OpenGL.

I am a little surprised–and disappointed in Intel–that you’re experiencing so great a difference in performance between OpenGL and DirectX, even given that you’re using an Intel integrated device.

For what it’s worth, I’m using OpenGL in my own projects, and feel that I’m seeing decent-enough performance, at least. However, I’m also doing so with an NVidia graphics card, and on what I think might be a slightly more-recent machine.

I think it’s Microsoft pushing their own drivers over openGL, anyway, thanks for your help, I’ll consider issue solved and work with what I have.

Okay everyone, it seems I have things at least working, yes, the windows version may need a little bit more power, but it is otherwise completely functional, so with that being said, I consider this issue solved.

I’ll be posting my project soon, thank you all, Thaumaturge, wezu, Yonnji, Moguri, and rdb, without you guys I would have been completely lost in this topic.

I’m glad if I’ve been of service. Good luck with your project!

thank you, I will be releasing the alpha shortly.
