get currently playing animation on the Actor?

Is it possible to get the currently playing animation of the Actor given the Actor?

actor.getCurrentAnim()

Hm, that function doesn’t seem to be mentioned in Actor’s or Character’s pages in the API reference.

Something seems to be wrong with the script that generates that API reference. It overlooks quite a lot of methods of Actor.

I think that might have something to do with the fact that Actor is a pure Python class inheriting a C++ class. But since it’s also not present in the Character class reference, it’s probably something there.

I think it’s because Actor defines lots of subclasses before it defines anything else. It probably wouldn’t hurt to simply restructure the class, and move the nested classes to the end or so.
