Error when exporting from gmax

Ok, I read the tutorial and did everything it asked. But when I try to export a model from gmax I get this error message. ERROR!! Opening MakeMdl (path/file not found)

Can someone help me with this?

i think the exporter for gmax is not maintained as is gmax itself.
