Does Panda3d support god rays for moving lights?

I tried enabling god rays in Bump Mapping sample, but rays originate from the point where light was initiated and does not follow the light node. Is it possible to have moving god rays?

Also rays do not seem to be blocked by other geometry. Is that supposed to happen?

It should follow the light. Perhaps you didn’t specify the correct node to follow?

Yeah, thanks. Fixed now. Though still god rays are not blocked by other geometry. In other games you can see rays coming from around tree leaves, but here i just can see point of origin even though I am looking from behind an object.


Hmm, it seems to be working fine, when bloom is enabled. Not sure what it has to do with god rays.
