Does egg-palettize work with an incremental approach?

Greetings all!

I’m attempting to clean up my integration of egg-palettize into an incremental build process (because ten minutes is too long to wait for one change to propagate ). From the documentation:

Does that mean that I get the same efficiency if I run palettize on each of my egg files one-at-a-time as I do if I provide it a whole batch of egg files at once?

Thank you for the help!

You’ll get better final results by letting egg-palettize run on all egg files at once (especially with the -opt parameter), but it will also work correctly (if not optimally) if you give it one egg file at a time.

We usually work in the one-file-at-a-time model during development, and occasionally do an egg-palettize -opt pass to reoptimize everything all at once.
