Disable a collision sphere or collisionNode?

Hey guys, I have an enemy ship that, depending on which AI methods it is currently using, will change which of its collision sphere are active.

However, I can’t seem to find a way to just disable the node. I tried hide, but that only hides as expected. The net effect I’m looking for is to not even have the engine do anything with the nodes until necessary to save some cycles.

Maybe this is a newb approach, but my AI is currently a resource hog and until I can figure out how to make THAT work better (another post) this is my next best idea.

You can use stash() to make a node invisible to collisions as well as to rendering.
