Create a new camera ?

could someone please tell me how i would create a new camera and then look through it ?

You don’t specify whether you want the new camera view to replace your current camera view, to appear in a new window that you open, to appear within a separate region onscreen, or to appear on a texture that you apply in your scene.

I’m guessing you mean for the new view to appear within a separate region onscreen. Check out the manual section called “Display Regions”.
