I see that the world.egg included with panda has collision inside of the model, but it is unopenable like other .egg files. Can anyone tell me how to include collision inside a model like this?
All egg files are openable; they’re all just text files. Some are compressed with pzip (they have an egg.pz extension), and you can uncompress them with punzip.
Beyond that, there’s plenty of documentation in the manual and in the forums about representing collision solids in egg files, so I don’t know what more you need to know yet.
I can’t seem to export it from 3ds max properly, the collision model doesn’t seem to match up properly with the actual terrain. But the world.egg works perfectly
